Dear Neighbor,

My family and I wish you and yours a merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year. I hope you find comfort and warmth in the company of loved ones this season and have a prosperous 2024.

I am immensely grateful for my loving family and friends and urge you to take time to remember the many blessings in your own life and to reflect on the joys that the holidays bring. I also am thankful for the men and women serving our armed forces, many of whom will be unable to share the warmth of loved ones in person this holiday season. Please say a prayer for the brave men and women of our armed forces as they make enormous sacrifices to serve us.

As we make our way through the holidays, let’s also remember this season can be a challenging time for people who have suffered a recent loss or feel extra pressure in their lives. Even small gestures to brighten their day or lessen their burden can make a big difference. Simply making a quick call or visit can really boost someone’s spirits.

Watch for more issues-related newsletters after we flip the calendar and begin 2024. The legislative session is set to begin Feb. 12, so things will ramp up quickly after the holidays.
